Social Media for Recruiting

Distance Learning Media has been contracted by City of Austin to provide social media services in support of recruiting for the Austin Fire Department. The five year contract includes managing outreach through various online portals including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram as well as nurture campaigns to manage candidate relations between hiring cycles. The Austin Fire Department sets the standard among public service agencies, serving the community through innovation and collaboration, while honoring tradition and embracing inclusion, equity, and diversity for all. Our DLM team is particularly excited about this opportunity because we our founders come from firefighter families. Julie Niehoff’s father Pat Henderson was a Dallas and University Park Firefighter and CJ Niehoff’s grandfather was a firefighter in Horicon, Wisconsin.
