Distance Learning Media managed the 2022 Small Business Needs Assessment study for City of Austin. The project included online survey, focus groups, business owner interviews and a robust outreach campaign designed to reach and engage the local business community in central Texas. On completion, DLM provided a final report to the city and has presented their findings to the Economic Development Division as well as a group of local leaders that make up the “Austin Ecosystem” – people and organizations working together to make sure that all local business owners are able to get the kind of coaching and supports they need in order to be successful. This year’s study also included research on the impact of the pandemic on the local businesses. The full report can be accessed on the City of Austin website here.
